| Why ItalianSuiseki | |||

Italiansuiseki.it was born from three friends’ wish to give space to stones, virtual but not unreal space. Stones exist, they are all around us, "we have always been toying with them", we use them to make our floors, our walls and our "roofs", but we almost never appreciate their purely aesthetic qualities raising them as “very” objects.
History teaches us that the Chinese first and the Japanese later have always given great importance to stones, investing them with philosophical and religious meanings hardly understandable by us Westerners.

We don't want to go into the art of "appreciation" of the stones, but we rather want to guide you to the discovery of a world made of unexpected similarities, odd shapes and colours, imagination and fancy, still trying to investigate those basic concepts according to which a stone becomes Suiseki.
Happy surfing then, and don't be sparing either with criticism or appreciation in an open constructive confrontation.

Italiansuiseki.it has been made on DRUPAL platform, vers.5.1
Drupal is a CMS (Content Management System), the name is the English spelling of the Dutch word DRUPPEL that means DROP.

Realized in PHP under GNU licence (General Public Licence), Drupal is a no-cost Open Source software, which means it is an application developed by an international community of developers who design and place at disposal the code of the basic version, of additional modules and graphic themes.
